Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do I register with Busy Bees?
A: Simply call us on freephone 08000 431 515 and we will send you a Carer Pack with a Redemption Agreement. Sign and return this form to us, along with a copy of your registration or approval certificate and we’ll register you.

Alternatively you can fill in the Voucher Redemption Agreement online, which can be found in the Carer section of this website.

Q: What does it cost me to register with Busy Bees?

A: Nothing!

Q: What’s in it for me?

A: By accepting Childcare Vouchers as payment, you’ll be helping working parents to save money on the cost of their childcare. This means they may choose to increase the number of hours their child/children spend in your care, increasing your occupancy levels.

Q: How do I redeem the voucher?

A: If your parents use paper vouchers, they simply hand them over to you when they pay their fees. You can then either call or email us to redeem the voucher. If parents prefer electronic vouchers, you can choose to be paid by AutoPay, which is similar to a Standing Order, or Redeem Direct, which will send money directly to your bank account.

Q: Do I always have to speak to someone on the phone to redeem vouchers?

A: No. Our Telephone Key Pad Redemption system is an automated service that gives you the choice to redeem your vouchers via your telephone keypad. This service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In addition, you can use e-mail redemption by sending a message and excel spreadsheet (or any file in CSV format) with the Voucher serial numbers, value and your carer ID to redeemingvouchers@busybeesvouchers.com

Q: I have received a payment and I am not sure which child it is for. How can I find out?

A: You can find out this information by either calling Busy Bees, or logging on to the e-voucher system (You may need to register for this service). This service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

I recommend the Busy Bees scheme on the basis that Childcare Vouchers are extremely easy to use and, above all, help parents to benefit financially
