Parents working at Coors Brewers saved more than £62,500 on the cost of their childcare in the last 12 months, by joining the Busy Bees Childcare Voucher scheme.

The Burton-on-Trent based company, which is the UK’s second largest brewer and amongst its portfolio brews the UK’s best selling beer, Carling, offers employees the opportunity to exchange part of their salary for Busy Bees Childcare Vouchers. The vouchers are exempt from National Insurance Contributions and tax and can be used to pay for any form of registered or approved childcare.

Helen Nessling, HR Contract Assistant at Coors, said: “We are delighted that we have been able to help our working parents save on the cost of their childcare, through running the Busy Bees Childcare Voucher scheme.”

“Coors’ actively support Busy Bees Childcare Vouchers as they are a proven method for employees to tailor their package around individual circumstances. Coors’ recognise that when it comes to the employment package ‘one size does not fit all’, and this type of choice and flexibility for employees who have to pay for child care arrangements is of real value.”

Busy Bees Childcare Vouchers can be spent on any form of registered or approved childcare, including nurseries, nannies, au pairs, pre and after school clubs and holiday schemes. Employers are also able to save on National Insurance Contributions.
