NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
GETS THE BUZZ FOR CHILDCARE SAVINGS

Employees at Nottinghamshire County Council will be able to drive down the cost of their childcare this year.

The Authority, which has a workforce of 27,000, has chosen Busy Bees Childcare Vouchers as its preferred supplier, following a thorough and competitive tendering process.

Under the scheme, working parents employed by the Council will be able to save up to £1,196 per year on their childcare (subject to individual circumstances), by requesting up to £243 per month (or £55 per week) in vouchers. Nottinghamshire County Council employees will be able to place their first order of Busy Bees Childcare Vouchers in May.

Childcare Vouchers are exempt from tax and National Insurance Contributions and are given to parents through a salary sacrifice scheme.

Busy Bees Childcare Vouchers offers a full administration service for its customers. This means Nottinghamshire County Council hands over all management and administration of the voucher scheme to Busy Bees, leaving the Authority to continue with their own day to day work.
