Childcare Savings for Parents at Baxterstorey
Parents at Baxterstorey are able to seek help with their childcare costs, thanks to the company offering Busy Bees Childcare Vouchers.
The Reading-based contract catering firm launched Busy Bees Childcare Vouchers in May 2005. They now have 17 parents regularly requesting vouchers.
Catherine Franklin, HR Manager at Baxterstorey, is one parent that exchanges part of her salary for vouchers, which are used to pay for a childminder. She’s been using vouchers since the launch of the Busy Bees scheme.
“The main attraction of using vouchers is the savings I make on childcare each month,” Catherine said. “But the whole process is really easy and I even pay my childminder over the Internet, using Busy Bees’ E-voucher system.
“Busy Bees Childcare Vouchers is a great benefit open to all of my colleagues that have children under the age of 16 and pay for childcare. There really isn’t a down side!”
Busy Bees Childcare Vouchers are exempt from tax and National Insurance Contributions. Parents are able to request up to £243 per month (or £55 per week)* in vouchers to pay for any form of registered childcare, including nurseries, nannies and pre and after school clubs.
